What “free” means
Selected organizations receive a Provider license with no Provider-account license fee. Your organization supplies and administers its Ubuntu hosting infrastructure and is responsible for its own deployment, operations, and requested customization.
The offer is intended for qualified organizations with the business purpose and technical capability to deploy and evaluate SecureConf.
Perpetual-license protection
The free Provider license is perpetual. The definitive agreement will also contain a contractual provision addressing an acquisition of SecureConf and giving each free Provider license holder an option to purchase the SecureConf source code at a price negotiated and fixed in advance.
Final rights, triggering events, included materials, and purchase terms will be stated in the signed Provider agreement.
